The First Visit

This visit takes between thirty minutes to an hour. After filling out paperwork concerning yourself and your condition (or you may download it from this website and fax it to us at 751-6022), you will discuss your health problems with Dr. Beemer.
She will then examine you in order to diagnose your condition. This could consist of a simple range of motion and palpation or a more complete orthopedic, neurological, and radiographic examination depending on your injury and symptoms.
Dr. Beemer will then explain what is wrong, if and how chiropractic can help, length of treatment, and cost. Most times she will begin treatment with an adjustment and/or physical therapy. Prior to leaving, you will be given home instructions that may benefit your spinal condition.

Stages of Care
Generally patients follow the following healing stages:

" Spinal correction "
" Strengthening "

The length of treatment is your choice. Some patients just want pain relief and others want to maximize their health potential.
